Founder & Director, cofinitive
(2014–2025)
I created and scaled an award-winning innovation communications consultancy supporting early-stage, high-growth and research-led organisations globally. I elevated Cambridge’s innovation profile and helped dozens of teams navigate commercialisation, investor engagement, and technology storytelling. The business was acquired in 2025, and I exited following the transition.
Founder, #21toWatch Awards
(2018–2026)
I created and established one of Cambridge and the East of England’s most recognised platforms for early-stage innovators, spotlighting breakthrough individuals, companies, and products across deep tech and life sciences.
Over the eight years I led the programme, #21toWatch winners collectively raised more than £710 million in funding, excluding CMR Surgical, private equity rounds, and undeclared investment - underlining the calibre and commercial trajectory of the companies identified and showcased.
The programme was supported by many of the region’s key ecosystem partners, reflecting both its credibility and its role in strengthening the wider innovation landscape.

I led initiatives to strengthen the regional innovation environment, including programmes addressing digital connectivity and barriers to scale.

I ran the project office and led public–private sector engagement around the publication of the independent economic review shaping regional innovation investment and policy.
